The Company
Since its humble beginnings in 1986 PT Macrochema Pratama has grown beyond trading chemicals. We have become a company focused on specialty products and providing added value services along with our high quality products. The group had also grown beyond trading and we venture into manufacturing.
Though we are growing, we are still running like a family business. We believe in the power of honest hard work with a dose creativity and frugality will in the end lead to success.

1986
Founding of Macrochema for trading chemicals. We started in trading for the personal care industry. Initially representing Tego currently owned by Evonik.
1989
Trading of flavor and fragrances for the cigarette industry. We initially represented Florasynth later merged into Givaudan.
1996
Founding of Makro Rekat Sekawan our first experience into manufacturing of industrial adhesives.
2008
Founding of Macro Processing Technology a manufacturer of machine and equipments.
2011
Founding of Moresco Macro Adhesive our joint venture with Moresco Japan to manufacture industrial adhesives.
2013
Founding of Technico Flor Indonesia to cater for South East Asia's growing need for quality fragrances.
2019
Founding of Macro Natura, a socially responsible company, to fulfill needs of natural, organic sweeteners.
2019
Partnership with Shanghai Huitian to promote products for the flexible packaging as well as construction.
